 (or May Bowl, May Punch, May Wine) There is a tradition of a mixed fruit and wine punch flavoured with spring herbs, particularily the sweet woodruff (Galium odoratum or Asperula Odorata), in Germany and parts of Switzerland associated with the May Day (or 'Beltane') festival.
