London Cheesecake

Pies and Pastries

Individual square of flaky pastry topped with a soft confection and jam, top strewn with shredded coconut, found in London bakers since c1990.

The name has also been used, notably by N. Lawson, for variants of the familiar New York Cheesecake, with a pressed biscuit base topped with a cream-cheese-and-sugar set confection.
