Duffield Pudding

Stewed fruit, batter poured over and baked.

Fresh or cooked fruit
4 ox plain flour
1 pint milk
1 oz melted butter
3 eggs, beaten

Spread fruit in a buttered dish, make a batter of the other ingredients and pour over. Bake at 350F for about 50 minutes. Serve hot with cream.
