Lancashire Sauce

Sauces and Spicery

An English Piquant Sauce sauce. There have been several products of this name, from Broome's, Mackrell's and Picton & Hattons (all in Liverpool) in the 1850's to Parkinson of Blackburn's 'East Lancashire Sauce' in the 1890's.

Lancashire Sauce based on vinegar with curry spices and oil is manufactured now by Entwistle's of Ramsbottom.
